This is an intensive workshop designed for dancers, other performers, and non-performers alike. Through visceral and image-based movement exercises, we cultivate a highly-centered, bodily presence and attempt to unearth all manner of habitual and idiosyncratic thought, feeling, and elements of our personae. Techniques from Butoh-based training as well as concepts from Zen and a range of other disciplines cultivate integration of mind, body, and spirit as well as increase our range of performative expression and character creation.
